FALCON-R-1908 series router is one new-generation enterprise-class access router, applicable to finance / government / branches of large enterprise, and headquarters and branches of middle/small enterprise. It integrates various modern network technologies, such as routing, switching, QoS, security, 3G/4G to provide the flexible access modes and secure and high-efficiency service experience for the users.

Features

Flexible uplink link

FALCON-R-1908 integrates one or three Gigabit WAN ports including one 1000M SFP fiber interface. In the optical link access scenario, do not need to configure media converter; meanwhile, uplink supports various mainstream WAN access link technologies, such as Ethernet, 3G/4G, E1/CE1, V.35 and optical line.

Extended slots are flexible and no limitation

FALCON-R-1908 supports two extended slots and they has no high/low-speed difference and no limitation for the cards; meanwhile, the two extended slots of FALCON-R-1908 support the horizontal or vertical slot merging to provide higher-density service interfaces in the future.

High performance

FALCON-R-1908 series router reaches more than 300kpps forwarding performance and the configured ACL, QoS, have small influence for the forwarding performance.

High port density

Router supports up to 8*1000M fixed switch LAN ports, providing the powerful terminal access capability and meeting the requirement of the user for integrating the routing and switch to construct the access network. By the way, the L2 LAN ports can also be configured to L3 WAN ports.

Rich software features

FALCON-R-1908 series router provides rich software features; supports various application technologies, such as VPN, MPLS, multicast, ACL, MAC address binding, access control, bandwidth limitation, MSTP, and NAT; supports RSVP resource reserving protocol and CAR; provides hierarchical QoS function to ensure the high priority of the key services; support the queue management policies, such as FIFO, PQ, CQ, FQ, CBWFQ, and LLQ.

3G/4G Wireless link technology

Router can flexibly select the inbuilt 3G/4G module, according to the customer requirement, supports three 3G standards, that is, TD – SCDMA , CDMA2000 , and WCDMA , supports two  4G standards, that is, TD-LTE and FDD-LTE; meanwhile, cooperates with IPSec VPN to provide the secure and flexible wireless WAN access for the customer.

Rich VPN technologies

FALCON-R-1908 series router supports various VPN technologies such as MPLS VPN, VPLS VPN, IPSec VPN, GRE VPN, L2TP(v3) VPN, etc. Customers can easily deploy their networking based on rich VPN technologies.
